Comparkly Booking Cancellation and Refund Policy
Last Updated: February 2026 | Version: 2.0
Overview
This policy explains when a booking can be cancelled, what amount can be refunded, which amounts are non-refundable, and how deferred payments are handled for bookings made far in advance.
Payment Model by Booking Timing
Bookings with arrival in 70 days or less (LE70)
- The full booking amount is charged at checkout.
- Any cancellation refund is calculated according to the cancellation conditions shown at checkout and this policy.
Bookings with arrival in more than 70 days (GT70)
- Only non-refundable platform fees are charged at booking (service fee and Flex Cancellation Option fee if selected).
- The remaining parking amount is charged automatically around 30 days before arrival using the stored payment method.
- If payment fails, reminders are sent and the customer can complete payment through a secure link.
- If the remaining amount is still unpaid by 7 days before arrival, booking may be cancelled automatically.
Cancellation and Refund Rules
Customer-Initiated Cancellation
- Where cancellation is eligible, Comparkly refunds the refundable booking amount to the original payment method.
- Non-refundable items remain excluded (see section "Non-Refundable Amounts").
- Late cancellation or no-show may result in reduced or zero refundable amount according to the parking conditions accepted at checkout.
Partner or Platform-Initiated Cancellation
- If Comparkly or the parking partner cancels due to unavailability or operational failure, the refundable amount is returned according to booking terms and this policy.
- Non-refundable platform fees and Flex Cancellation Option fees remain excluded from refund unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
- Comparkly may also offer equivalent alternative parking where available.
GT70 Unpaid Remainder at J-7
- If the remaining amount was not successfully paid after reminders, the booking can be auto-cancelled at 7 days before arrival.
- In this case, only amounts already charged and marked non-refundable remain non-refundable.
Booking Modifications and Date Changes
- Modifications are subject to availability, pricing, and operational constraints.
- If a requested date change creates an unsupported payment processing scenario, Comparkly may require cancel-and-rebook.
- Any additional amount due must be paid before modification confirmation.
Refund Processing
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method used for booking.
- Typical processing time is 5 to 10 business days depending on payment rail and card issuer.
- If a chargeback/dispute is opened, settlement may be delayed until review is completed.
Non-Refundable Amounts
Always Non-Refundable (unless mandatory law requires otherwise)
- Platform service fee
- Flex Cancellation Option fee (if selected)
- Payment processor fees where explicitly disclosed as non-refundable
No-Show and Fraud Controls
- If the customer does not arrive and no valid cancellation applies, the booking may be treated as no-show and non-refundable.
- Bookings flagged for fraud, abuse, or payment manipulation can be suspended or cancelled and may be subject to additional verification.
